Super Women Profiles: Everyday Heroes

The author George Eliot so eloquently writes in her classic book Middlemarch that, "the growing good of the world is partly dependent on unhistoric acts; and that things are not so ill with you and me as they might have been, is half owing to the number who lived faithfully a hidden life, and rest in unvisited tombs." We live among these good doers and some times we don't even recognize them.

Our Super Women Profiles series aims to highlight women from all different backgrounds and stages of life in order to give us an enriching perspective on what these everyday heroes face day to day and how they need or incorporate rest into their lives. The post may be through the lens of another or a direct interview and everything in between. We’ll also be taking submissions from readers and encourage you to nominate those around you -- send us a note!

We’re very much looking forward to having this important dialogue and illuminating these incredible people who make our world a better place.
